• Is a decorated Gulf War Veteran. Volunteered for Operations Desert Shield and  Desert Storm in the Middle East Gulf region..
• Was the first citizen to seriously tackle the homeless problem in San Francisco by writing and placing on the Ballot Prop E, designed to end cash handouts to the city’s drug addicts and alcoholics.

Has Demonstrated Fiscal Responsibility:

• As a Business Leader, Earl has owned and operated a successful Specialty Tile  and Stone company in Ft Lauderdale since 2002. He has maintained the growth of the company as well as its profitability, despite an economic downturn.
• As a San Francisco Commissioner with fiduciary responsibility for a $350 million dollar City Department, Earl fought to establish measurable goals and objectives in city contracts, to insure that monies were being spent wisely.

Is Invested in Fort Lauderdale:

• Earl lives in Fort Lauderdale, owns a home in Fort Lauderdale, and pays exorbitant property taxes.
• Earl owns a profitable business in Fort Lauderdale that employs people.
